#fishsteamed#fishsteamedinbananaleaf#steamedfishrecipe#howtostamfish<br /><br />FISH STEAMED IN BANANA LEAF|HEALTY & TASTY STEAMED FISH |HOW TO STEAM FISH| സ്റ്റീമെദ് ഫിഷ്|FISH STEAMED RECIPE<br /><br />STEAMED FISH<br /><br />INGRIDIENTS:<br />FISH 2 POMFRET (ANY FISH CAN BE TAKEN)<br />KASHMIRI CHILI POWDER 1 TBS<br />CORIENDER POWDER 1 TSP<br />TURMERIC POWDER ½ TSP<br />BLACK PEPPER POWDER ½ TSP<br />GINGER GALIC PASTE 1 TSP<br />OIL 1 TSP<br />SALT 1 TSP<br />Make slit on both side of the fish so that spices will hold nicely Mix all the above ingredients and spread the mixture over the fish on both the sides. Marinate and keep atleast for ½ an hour.<br />Banana Leaf 2 nos<br />Oil 2 tbs<br />Garlic chopped 2 tabs<br />Onion 2 big sliced thinly<br />Tomatoes 4 medium size chopped<br />Curry leaves 10-12<br />Green chili 3-4<br />Kashmiri chili powder 1 tsp<br />Coriander powder 1 tsp<br />Fish masala or 1 tsp (optional)<br />Garam masala 1 tsp<br />Vinegar 1 tbs<br />Salt 1 tsp as per taste<br /><br />In a pan add oil. When oil is hot add chopped garlic and saute for 30-40 second then add sliced onion and saute them in medium flame for 8-10 mts and add salt to it then add curry leaves, then green chili , when onion is translucent add chopped tomatoes saute on medium flame for2-3 minutes then close the lid and let tomato cook on medium low flame for 7-8 minute. Then add chili powder, coriander powder, fish masala and sute well for 8-9 minutes in low flame. Let masala cook nicely till the raw smell go away. Then add vinegar and mix well. Masala is ready.<br />Keep a steamer for boing. Take a banana leaf and add 2 tbs of onion and tomato masala and on top keep the marinated fish and again on top of the fish add 2 tabs onion and tomato masala or to cover the fish nicely and fold the banana leaf properly and keep it on the preheated steamer and cover it and cook it for 10 minutes. Steamed fish masala is ready. <br />Very tasty and healthy fish masala. You can try it.<br />
